Our Story
Tri-State Metals was founded in 1991 as a local metal-supply shop and has grown into a full-service metal products and processing provider serving builders, contractors, architects, engineers, fabricators, and manufacturers across Northwest Alabama, Southern Tennessee, and Northeast Mississippi.
In October 2024, Tri-State Metals was acquired by another company. The name, the team, and the way we do business haven't changed—we're still the same local, hands-on partner our customers have relied on for decades, now backed by additional resources to keep serving this region well for years to come.

What We Do
We stock and supply carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum in the shapes contractors and fabricators need most—beams, angles, channels, tubing, pipe, rebar, sheet and plate, grating, expanded metal, bar stock, and more. On top of our inventory, we offer value-added processing including CNC laser cutting, plasma cutting, oxy-fuel cutting, saw cutting, roll forming, sandblasting, and powder coating—so you can get material and finishing done in one place.
Delivery and pickup are available on all orders, with our own fleet serving job sites and shops throughout Northwest Alabama, Southern Tennessee, and Northeast Mississippi.
