Sandblasting

Sandblasting

High-pressure abrasive blasting removes rust, scale, and old coatings to prepare surfaces for welding, powder coating, or painting, and to strip and clean parts down to a uniform surface.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between sandblasting and the 3-stage chemical wash system?

andblasting uses abrasive media to mechanically strip rust, scale, and old coatings. The 3-stage chemical wash system uses a chemical process instead of abrasives to clean parts and produce a conversion coating, and is well suited to high-volume continuous production. Depending on your part and finish requirements, we can help determine which prep method — or combination — fits best.

Do I need surface preparation before powder coating or wet paint spraying?

Yes — proper surface preparation (via sandblasting or our chemical wash system) improves coating adhesion, durability, and corrosion resistance. We can handle preparation and final coating as a single project.

Can you match a specific color or finish?

Yes — both our powder coating and wet paint spraying services offer custom color and finish options to match your specifications.

Do you work with high-volume production and smaller custom orders?

Yes — our coating and finishing services support everything from large automated production runs to one-off custom or prototype batches.
